An Alien Detour

One of the most interesting aspects of the UFO mystery is the study of landing cases. There are a number of these, and normally they fall into the category of close encounters of the third kind, or alien contact. I came across an extremely baffling case that comes to us from Nexus magazine. The case occurred in November of 1989 on a cold Russian night. Two professional truck drivers were enroute from the city of Arkhangelsk to Moscow. Oleg Kirzhakov and Nikolai Baranchikov would soon find themselves smack dab in front of a landed UFO. Their normal route was blocked that night, and so they took a detour to a dirt road, and encountered a craft not of this world.
Alien Detour gives us a very detailed description of what the two unlucky drivers encountered. The original account was written by Dr Valery Uvarov, a member of the Russian National Security Academy. One of the drivers began to move toward the UFO, which was partially blocked from their view by a grove of trees on the side of the dirt road. The closer the truck driver came to the craft, the heavier the air became. It took a great effort on his part to reach the object. See all the facts of this one of a kind experience. It's one you won't soon forget.
