I would like to relate to you my experiences of the last month or so. My first sighting was last year in October, when I saw a star-like object that was falling up, and then was sucked into the sky and was gone.
The second was Jan 27th, 2011, I saw a boomerang shape with 3 orange orbs flying over my neighbor's house, I saw this from the time it came into the atmosphere and then down over our houses for about 10 seconds till I lost sight of it (this was at night) which I reported to MUFON.
Daylight Sightings Begin
This is where it gets kind of weird, I usually read your articles and check MUFON every day and I wished that I would see a daytime sighting. On April 9, (day and night), I picked my daughter up from school and leaving the parking lot. I saw a seahorse-type shape moving from south to north.
My daughter didn't see it. That same night I was on my deck telling my wife about it and said that I wished she would see one so she would know what I was talking about.
We went inside for a bit and came back out and she said she just saw a falling star, only with an orange tail. I said, "maybe you just saw one."
I stepped back on the deck to look over the house and there was an orange/egg-shaped object about the size of a beach ball that just blinked out. She didn't see this, but we did see 3 small orbs that looked like lighting bugs to her, except they were orange and about the size of a bird that flashed away.
Sightings at Work Place
On May 19, daylight, I was at work on break and saw what looked like a totally black hot air balloon float across the sky from east to west for approximately 1-2 minutes. It turned north and faded into a small dot before disappearing.
On May 24, daylight while on break at work, there were storm clouds in the western sky. I saw a black disk come out of the clouds, fly south to north for 4-5 seconds, and then it went back into the clouds.
So now I'm kind of getting worried about what's up with me, and why I'm seeing so many and so close.
On May 26, daylight, while at work, in a clear sky, I saw what I thought was a jet at first. I said to myself, "there's no way that's another one."
This object was cigar-shaped, with no wings or windows, just pure white and moving from east to west.
I got in my car and watched till it went out of sight. So now I'm asking, "why me?" Do I need a cat scan, am I going crazy or what?
Seeking Answers
So I asked for a sign or something to let me know.
On May 27, my daughter (14) gets up in the morning and says she had a strange dream that we were in Nebraska and that some relatives and people from her school were there, and tornadoes were around and red "pods" came down and picked us up.
They were filled with ice and took us a mile away from where the tornadoes were. She said that the inside of the pods was like balloons, but had ice in them and were bounced around in the storm as it was going on.
I got shivers all over and since then I've had no more sightings (yet). The word chaos sticks in my mind. We are moving out of Kansas City to Nebraska.
Is it possible to be in tune with them? That's sure how it felt. I felt that I needed to let someone else know about what I was seeing.
Look at the new world map for 2012 and you'll see that Kansas City is no longer there.

Thank you for your response. I'd just like to clarify a couple of things.
I'm 53 years old, from a small town in Iowa, and have always been a realist.
My wife and I didn't talk much about the experiences in front of our daughter so as not to freak her out, that's why the dream from her was a shock.
Also, I don't want to sound "apocalyptic" with my statement about Kansas City and the new map. That would be speculation on my part, I just think there are more natural events that are going to happen, and I'd rather be wrong in Nebraska than right.
I've been asking myself, why me? I think the real question was why "just" me?
