Former Pilot Reports Morphing Craft that Disappeared
A former pilot, presently residing in North Carolina has made a report of a UFO that not only changed shapes, but disappeared before his very eyes.
The pilot lives on a mountain, east of Asheville, NC, at a height of 3,000 feet above sea level. The day of his sighting, it was a sunny afternoon with only a few clouds around. The time was exactly 5:23 PM.
An avid sky watcher, he was observing three hawks which were circling to his south.
Soon, he saw what he thought was a passenger jet in the distant sky, behind the hawks. The craft was flying east to west, and seemed to be at a speed below what a normal jet flies.
As he honed in on the craft, he noticed that he could not see any type of wings on it, as it slowly moved along. To be sure, he grabbed his binoculars.
Binoculars Show Unbelievable Sight
What he saw shocked him. He clearly saw the craft changing from an airliner, with a solid red tail to an elongated cigar-shaped craft. The craft was bright silver in color.
For a short period of time, his view was obstructed by tree branches, and then, very abruptly, the object was simply gone from the sky. The unknown object had "literally disappeared," according to the pilot.
The pilot stated that he had over 25,000 hours of flight time, in all conditions, and is familiar with all types of flying craft.
He is adamant in stating that the craft changed shapes and disappeared right before his eyes. This was an experience he had never had before in all his years of piloting and observing flying craft.
