California-05-06-While on a rooftop downtown San Francisco early Sunday morning (2:07 am 6 May 2007), My wife and I witnessed a very large black triangle moving slowly over the city. It was perhaps 100 yards from corner to corner with bright white lights on each corner.
It was very low in the sky, approximately 500-1000 feet up and moving to the west. We watched it for about 30 seconds before it was no longer visible.
Florida-04-29-Witness was working in Boca Raton, and looking out into the Atlantic Ocean, when he noticed a white object hovering at about 50-100 feet above the sea. Object made not a move for at least twenty minutes, until it finally descended slowly and touched the water. It remained there for about three minutes, and then moved back up into the sky where it sat motionless for another twenty minutes. Witness finally lost sight of the object because of heavy clouds.
After seeing the report above last week, one of our readers told a buddy of his about the sighting.
My buddy responded:
The one in Boca is what I saw. I wasn't on the beach but it was high enough to see from where I was.
Question: Could you make out any more details than just a white object?
Answer: Not really. A couple of times I saw flashes of light but that could have been the sun reflecting on it. At first I thought it was a plane but then realized it was too big for a plane and it wasn't moving. I saw it go down and that's when I drove over to the beach. It looked like a boat floating on the water but it wasn't moving there either. It went back up and at that point it sort of had a bluish glow on the underside. It went back up to a spot a bit higher than it had been previously and sat there. A cloud covered it and when the cloud was gone so was it.
I'm pretty sure I saw it the next evening streaking across the sky. It was very high up and moving much faster than a plane could. There were no smoke trails like with planes. Not only was it moving across the sky but it was moving up. It just sort of disappeared as it got too high for me to see.
North Carolina-Unknown Date-This is a bit older but was never explained to any of us in Newport, North Carolina. I was at work at that point in time at a trade mart there. I was taking out the trash and hanging outside for a smoke break and I just happened to look up as I always do and saw this gigantic black circle above me-it was below the stars because you could see the stars return as it moved passed them very slowly. Several people were there with me and saw the same thing and were as freaked out by it as I was.
There were no lights on it at all-it was just completely black and terribly huge. That night I went home and told my husband and he thought "Yeah Right," but the next morning it was on the front page of the paper. Nobody knows what it was, and there was NO AIRCRAFT over that area that night. So my question to all is just this, What was it and has anyone else seen this thing at all?
Denver-1995-I had an observation in the early morning of November 6, 1995 or possibly the 15th, in the Car Rental Pickup Lot of Denver International Airport... It was @ 0700 hrs. ( I carry a 35mm Nikon with a 200mm Telephoto and a pair of Zeiss 20x60 Binoculars in my POV, as luck would have it, I was without!)
As I was stretching, deep inhaling the fresh cold air, and looking up in the sky, I observed to the West @ 30-35K ft. a multi-engine Jet making contrail, heading West (in shadow) at about 45 degrees.
Scanning vertically I saw another multi-engine jet, making contrail @ 30-35K ft., heading East, just coming into sunlight. Third multi-engine aircraft, heading East at @ 60 Degrees was in full-sunlight.
I looked down then back up and spotted an object at @ 75-80 degrees vertically. It was in full sunlight @ 50 to 60K ft., heading East. The object had "over flown" the first "eastbound jet" and was rapidly "overhauling" the second!
The object was a "slightly flattened and truncated cone," the bottom of the object in full sun, shone a lustrous "gray" like an "ironstone skillet" in bright light, and gradually faded to "dark gray" at the top. No control surfaces were visible and at the stern, the whole area was "BLACK, BLACK, BLACK"!
There appeared to be a "heat plume/distortion" from whatever drive system it was using... BUT THERE WERE NO CONTRAIL! The object was about 3/4 of an inch long, between 2 fingers at arms length, whereas the jets were about 1/8 of an inch. I would estimate the "machine" to be over 1000 ft. Long and making 4-5K MPH! Where might I check to find if anyone else, had reported something like that?
Australia-March-2006-I witnessed a very unusual sighting myself in March 2006 in Auckland. I witnessed a black jellyfish type UFO for 30 minutes with my daughter from a distance but with clear enough visibility to make out it was not a recognizable craft, plane, bird etc.
It made some incredible maneuvers in daylight including moving from thousands of feet in the air to the ground and back again within a split second. I witnessed this movement three times consecutively as well as motionless hovering, side to side jerks and other movements and reported this to the local paper who debunked the sighting once they had contacted the coast guard and could not substantiate the story with any alternative witnesses.
