Arkansas - 12-31-10 - My husband and I were watching fireworks in the neighborhood from our driveway for New Years, and two red/orange glowing lights appeared in the sky suddenly.
They were spherical in shape. The objects were flying northwest, and one appeared to be ahead of the other. The object that seemed closer was quite large, about two times the size of the private planes we normally see in the area.
The other object was about the size of a small plane though. We took deep notice of the objects because we had never seen planes with a light this size or glowing this color, nor have we seen a plane appear so fast before.
The object was moving slowly, it looked like it was hovering in place, then slowly moved in our direction, and then hovered again. It was traveling very slowly and flying low, not at the height of jets, more like small planes and helicopter height. We heard no sound.
Arkansas - 12-31-10 - It was New Year's Eve, and I stepped outside to let my grandmother's dog out at about 8:10 PM. There were fireworks going off all around, so I instantly looked toward the sky when I got outside.
The very first thing I noticed was a small orange light traveling fairly slowly moving from east to west. It was going slower than an airplane, and was fairly low to the ground - lower than an airplane would be flying.
I watched the thing very closely, and it was a steady light - no blinking. I tried to make out if it was a large craft, but it was too dark and all I could see was the light. And it was not fireworks either, believe me.
All of a sudden the thing started going straight up in the air. It went straight up to the point where the light was so small, it was about the size of a star.
And there were two stars up in the sky, and I swear they were moving around, but maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me.
Arkansas - 01-04-11 - My wife and I were driving from our parents' house in Pangburn, and as we were leaving we saw an unknown object fly over.
Right after we saw the one object fly over, we noticed another object following close behind.
These objects were not far above the tree tops. Both were the same, they had five sides, and the bottoms had multiple lights of various colors.
Neither of us had ever seen anything flying even vaguely similar to these objects.
Arkansas - 01-01-11 - We saw about 7 or 8 slow moving objects for about 10 minutes. We had set off some fireworks on the street when we saw a round, red object moving across the sky from the North, soon followed by a second, identical object.
I want to be clear here. These were NOT fireworks, at times the objects stopped in the sky.
The neighbor across the street and the neighbors down the street were all pointing and asking, "What the hell is that?"
All in all, seven identical objects all moved towards the south until they each disappeared in the same spot.
