New Jersey - 10-09-10 - My oldest daughter, who is now living in Arizona, sent me a text on my cell phone at approximately 5:10 AM. I'm not usually awake then, but after I read her text, I was wide awake.
It felt cold in the house, which made me realize I had left the windows open in the house before I fell asleep. I closed all of them and lastly as I was closing my kitchen window, I noticed between the trees in the sky were these two unusual lights I've never seen before.
At first I saw a small, round, orange-yellow light, thinking it was a star. No, too big for a star. This orange-yellow light was getting larger then smaller, but staying in the same stationery location. Then another light appeared, much larger, also round and orange-yellow in color.
This light got much larger, then much smaller until it disappeared entirely. This larger light would continue to get larger then smaller and disappear, repeatedly. I thought I would wake up my youngest daughter so she could see these unusual lights in the sky. I awoke her and took her to the kitchen window.
The smaller light was there, but barely visible between the trees, then it got larger to its original size as I first saw it. I quickly got dressed and went for a ride in my car to see if I could get a better view past the trees, but could not see the lights anymore. source: www.mufon.com
Tennessee -10-08-10 - I was outside viewing the night sky and witnessed a blue, white, oval ball moving with no sound north to northwestern from a southerly direction - it immediately changed its direction to south again and then it stopped.
I lost where it was, and I stayed outside, pulled out my Iphone and set it for video and I took pictures of the unidentified craft, and a few of the other craft that were around it. They had blue-white lights and some had red strobing lights with no sound. I think they were in or close to being atmospheric in altitude.
I noticed that they appeared to be trying to box in the glowing craft. I found it again after a few minutes as it was moving from west to east in a jumping, slow pattern. It almost seemed it was curving a little instead of maintaining a perfect lateral line across the sky.
When it finally went out of my range after a few minutes, there were 9 craft in the area with no sound, trails, or anything. We are close to an air force base located in Tullahoma, Tennessee, approximately 15 miles from our location. source: www.mufon.com
Texas - 10-09-10 - I was just out to have a smoke and the stars were really nice tonight. I was seeing several shooting stars (3), so I thought I'd watch a minute more to see if there were others.
Then, coming out of the west very fast, was a bright, orange, elongated shape. It was moving VERY fast and on an incredibly flat, straight path. It did not veer even the slightest bit.
As it went toward the south it very SUDDENLY slowed to a near stop. At that point, I could easily make out that it appeared to have a sort of triangular shape - pointed in the front, tall in the back, and still quite orange. Then it began to move very, very slowly until I lost sight of it behind the trees on our eastern property line.
I don't have much of a horizon to the southwest because of trees, so I can only see about an acre back. I measured with my thumb and forefinger how far up it was from the ground at the back of the acre and that measurement was about 5 inches. All of the movement it made continued on the same very straight line, never going above or below that 5 inch mark.
I called my husband to come out because I was just sure it would come out from behind those trees, but it never did, so it would have had continue heading due south, otherwise I would have seen it come from behind the trees. Checked the clock and it would have been right about 8:20 PM that I first saw it. source: www.mufon.com
