Another 1987 report of alien contact comes from Canada, where a man was doing some moose hunting via motorbike on North Canol Road. He had parked for a time, and was enjoying the beautiful view of the country side.
It was raining and cold on the morning of September 3, when the would-be hunter saw something strange in the sky. He thought at first the object was a plane, about the size of a DC-3. He then changed his mind, when he saw that the object had no wings.
He could see portholes along the side of the UFO, which had a gray stripe down the middle, with a green top and bottom. The massive flying object made no sound as it slowly glided along. It also appeared to dematerialize at times, and then regain its full form.
He found a spot to hide, and still be able to watch the object. He was wrong, however, in thinking he was hidden. He heard a sound behind him, and soon saw two gray creatures, both wearing blue jump suits. The had an insect-like look to them, with spindly body features, and large eyes.
One of the beings reached to his belt, activating a beam, which flashed a bright light. The hunter was immediately paralyzed. The next thing he was aware of was standing alone on the side of the road.
He would come to find that he had missing time, and later recall his encounter with four different types of beings, and having medical tests performed.
Two Controversial Cases
1987 would also be the year that the famous Gulf Breeze UFOs would begin to be reported. The case is primarily known for its controversial photographs and videos, but it is also a case of alien contact.
Rarely discussed, Gulf Breeze architect and main subject, Ed Walters, claimed several contacts with alien beings. Not only was he confronted face to face by these beings, but he also claimed to have communicated with them through his mind.
The Ilkley Moor in Yorkshire, England, would be the location of alien contact, abduction, and a rare photograph of an alien being. Four years after his duties as a policeman, Philip Spencer moved to the Yorkshire area to be closer to his family.
On December 1, 1987, he walking to his father-in-law's house, which necessitated him crossing the moor. He was an amateur photographer, and was hoping to get some photos of the strange lights that were reported at times in the moor.
He was surprised to see some type of being on the slopes ahead of him. The being seemed to be waving Spencer off, and it quickly scurried away. Spencer tried to follow him, and soon he saw an unknown, flying craft with a domed top.
He would soon discover that he had lost an hour of time. He had the photograph of the strange creature developed, and tried to have the being identified as some type of indigenous wildlife, but to no avail.

A very well known and researched case of alien contact occurred at a Manhattan apartment building at about 3:00 AM, November 30, 1989. This case was investigated by Budd Hopkins, and involved Linda Napolitano, who claimed she was floated from her Manhattan apartment to a waiting UFO.
Hopkins, using regressive hypnosis, got to the bottom of the mystery. This is a must see case. See all of the details at The Manhattan Abduction.
