I don't think this was a satellite. Definitely not a plane, helicopter or star either. Constantly changes position, and I filmed it for a solid hour.
I have over 100 still photos as well, all with points of reference. I really want to pass on this footage to someone who can analyze the date/time with military and/or satellite position records. My video shows constant movement, changing in color, and shape and pulsing bright lights.
In the still photographs, you can see the position changing in correlation to the stars in the foreground. This is phenomenal footage and I took pictures of me taking video, and I took video of me taking pictures. California-12-19-08-I was sitting in the Carl's JR. restaurant on Marconi Avenue in Sacramento, near the corner of Eastern Avenue and Mission Avenue. While talking to my wife, I noticed that below tree level in the distance there was a cigar-shaped UFO cruising.
I saw it cruise between trees, and when I had looked to see if it would reappear between other trees, it did not reappear.
It looked like the fuselage of a large airliner, but had no wings or tail, and it was flying too low to be an airplane. I estimate that it was about half a mile from my location and it was traveling from east to west. If it was at the distance that I thought it to be, I estimate that it would have been a hundred feet off of the ground.
It had no lights and appeared to be a dark gray color on the bottom with a light gray color on the top. I chose to state that it was cigar-shaped because I saw only the side of the object, but my conclusions are that it was disk-shaped. source: www.mufon.com
California-12-27-08-At approximately 10:48 PM, I witnessed an unusual colored golden/bronze bright light (with two opposite red lights each side that turned on shortly after) which seemed like a star or planet. Having never seen such in the night sky before, I continued to observe it. I was standing facing south/southeast compass bearing 170 degrees (taken later for report), and looking directly upward.
This bright light was near what looked like another bright star or planet, as I am not a well versed astronomer, so I can't describe by names. I’m sure there is available star/planet charts for date and time. If made available to me I could then point out where it was that I saw this.
This went on for a few minutes, when all of a sudden this light took off south/southeast compass bearing 170 degrees at an extremely high rate of speed. No sound nor noise was heard or seen. At approximately the two o’clock position, a smaller particle of the same bright light was ejected/departed from the main light and they both soon disappeared into the horizon. source: www.mufon.com
California-12-28-08-At 7:04 PM, I walked outside with my infant child and his mother to go to her car. I noticed an incredibly bright white object in the northwest sky at approximately 40 degrees above the horizon. I pointed this out to her, and I said, "What is that?"
I commented to her that I knew that a few weeks back three planets were aligned with the moon, but I thought that was in the eastern sky. She left, and I continued to watch the object until 7:15, when I called a friend to see if he could see it. He could not get outside.
I went inside, called 411 and Vandenburg AFB. They had no info. I called Edwards AFB, but was unable to reach anyone. I called 411 again and KABC channel 7 news. They said they had no info.
I returned outside at approximately 7:30, and the object was in the same place and was still the same level of intense brightness. At this point I remembered that I had some binoculars in my vehicle, and thinking that they would help, I retrieved them. I remember thinking this whole time that there must be some rational easy explanation for this thing I was seeing in the sky.
Through the binoculars it appeared to be tear-drop shaped, oval, and bullet shaped. I think this was because it was so bright, I could not really see the object that was producing the light. At this point I thought it hasn't moved for 45 minutes, it's not going anywhere. I went inside, then returned about 4 minutes later. I was shocked when it was not there. source: www.mufon.com
