California-02-02-09-At about 21:00 tonight, I stepped out on my porch and noticed a light due west of me. How many miles away I am not sure, it could have been anywhere from five to ten miles at probably 1000 ft. It was bright yellow seeming to stand in one spot. I watched this for about ten minutes, and then I asked my mother to come outside to see it.

That is when I remembered to get my video camera. I was able to get some footage of this event before it blinked out. This is not like any plane I had ever seen before. At first I thought it looked a lot like military illumination that I have seen many times being an ex-sailor who was with the Marines for quite a few years. But then it would suddenly flash a really bright red, then go back to a yellow light.

From my vantage point it looked star-like, but again I was a long way from the object. source: www.mufon.com

Florida-01-13-09-Brian and Chris and two friends were driving home from a meeting at Florida International University at 1:00 AM. They were heading West on S.W. 72nd Street (Sunset Drive). Chris, who was driving, noticed the object first. He said that it was so massive that it occupied 1/4 of the sky.

He saw what appeared to be blue stars blinking around the edge of the object and pulled the car over and the men got out to look at the object. It was moving from Southeast to Northwest. Chris said it was rectangular or oval shaped.

Brian described the object as floating at a slanted angle the thickness of a house. He said that he could not see the stars through the object and described it as "camouflaged" but with flickering blue lights around it. He felt panicky when he saw the object, but on recovering sent a text message to a friend in Homestead (about 20 miles south).

Chris said the object was "as large as a football field." Brian said it was "as long as Dolphin Mall." Both said that the object made no sound and moved slowly across the sky. Mary Margaret Zimmer FL ASD, FI source: www.mufon.com

Michigan-02-01-09-Around 9:00 PM, while driving home, I noticed a very bright light in the sky. The sky was hazy that night, and it was hard to see the stars, so it was really easy to notice this 'ball' of light.

At first, I thought that maybe there was an accident and they had to fly in a helicopter and it had on its landing lights. But soon after driving closer to the object, I noticed this was not the case.

The object was a very bright, orange in color, and looked as if it was changing from orange to red. There was no sound, and the object seemed to be 'floating' or moving very slowly in an eastern direction.

After following this object for about 10 minutes, I had to turn around and go back to where I was going to. This is amazing to me, and when I saw the video of the Stephenville sighting in Texas, that is exactly what I saw that night! source: www.mufon.com

Texas-02-01-09-I left Robstown about 7:00 PM, heading north on US 77. Then 77 fed onto I-37 from Corpus Christi to San Antonio. I was driving along and noticed a dark object moving about the same speed as I was. It seemed to increase in number from 1 up to 4 from time to time.

I took notice of the next mile marker which was 42. I then rolled my window down to see if perhaps there was something on my window creating the affect, plus to listen for noise. The spot(s) were still there, but I heard no noise other than my car and general traffic noise. The spot(s) were dark, and the best I could describe the shape was from a cigar shape to a disc (flat)shape.

I flashed my lights on and off to signal I had seen them... and anytime a car passed me, I pointed my arm out the window towards the spots... hoping someone else would look in that direction. I watched the spots for about 6 miles... then they disappeared. I made mental note of the time, 7:17 PM and the next mile pole, which was 48. The spots did not reappear. Sonny, source: www.mufon.com
