So we both went outside of our homes and watched the light move around a small portion of the sky, all the while blinking its lights. It was located in the northwest sky approximately at 15-20 degrees off the horizon. We could only see its lights, no structure was visible, and it seemed to be far away.
As we watched, we both called out what we saw over the cell phone, to verify that we were watching the same thing. It would move right, while flashing the colors, then back left. I then noticed a second light due west, it was much smaller and was moving north at a steady pace. It had one blinking red light, I thought it could have been a plane, but it was much faster. source: www.mufon.com
California-10-26-08-I was standing in the front of a coffee shop here at Sac City College smoking a cigarette and looking up at the sky directly overhead, I saw four meteors. There were several each night his week. I then noticed four discs flying in formation from over the coffee shop to a northward direction!
They were swift and quiet, no sound at all! They had no lights at all, but they reflected the ground illumination, and as they passed, they remained in perfect alignment. From a left-rear position to a right-front position in an angled straight line, I counted four saucers!
This is my second sighting in my life! I was so excited I ran in the coffee shop and of course, no one cared. source: www.mufon.com
Florida-09-08-08-I had to run back to the store at 11:45, and on my return down a clearing in the road I saw a smokey sphere-like star. I slowed down only briefly to look and went on home, dismissing it. Then, a few mornings later, I saw the same thing again. It was on the road to Mayo. <p> It was clear, and I could see all of the stars, but this object stood out above them. I watched this UFO was about twenty minutes. I was cool, and collected, not afraid. I have seen this twice now, and it was unlike anything I have ever seen. source: www.mufon.com
Illinois-10-19-08-Oak Lawn, I went out in front for a smoke and of course caught a glimpse of the street light situated on the block across from me facing west. I always catch the light out of my eye because it's so bright. Through the tree line I noticed a white light, very bright and just thought it was a plane, I have a lot of plane activity above my house because I live in close proximity to Midway Airport.
I finished my smoke, and for some reason looked back in the area where the light was and it was still there. I said to yself, "That's strange," so I made my way towards the light. I crossed the street and noticed it had some mass to it, so I hopped my neighbor's fence and got closer.
I observed that it was hovering and made a hissing sound which was very smooth sounding. As I started to come out of the tree cover, I think it saw me, so it started to move back northeast. I made my way back to my house and that's when I noticed it was dropping in altitude about 500 yds above the tree line. The object appeared to be shaped like a smashed oval and had a huge tail or dorsal fin on its back end. This lasted for about 3 to 5 minutes, I was amazed. source: www.mufon.com
Texas-08-30-08-I was returning home from a friend's house traveling west on Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls, Texas, at approximately 11:20 PM. I was coming down the main highway that leads to the street I live on. I saw some lights flashing, but first thought was that it was an airplane. Our city has several airports and a military base.
The second thing I noticed was a car parked along the road. I thought it was possibly broken down being the area it was in. As I got closer to the turnoff to the street I live on, I noticed that the car I had assumed was stalled, started up and it was going fast. As I was approaching my street, the car turned onto my street. The car stopped, and I noticed several men looking up into the sky at what must have been the same object I had seen.
The object was about the size of four homes. Most homes in the area are about 1800 sq. feet. It stayed hovered there for maybe 1 1/2 minutes or so, and then began to move very slowly to the southeast of our city. source: www.mufon.com
