At no point did I see any other lights on the object. The entire time it was a pretty bright glowing orange and looked like a plane coming toward you on the horizon, except it wasn't moving toward me, it was moving, if anything, away from me, but appeared to be moving left to right above the city.
It didn't just slowly come to a stop, it just stopped. At a stand still, the object's glow began to intensify. It lit up very, very bright and then all of a sudden disappeared. This was probably around 3-5 seconds before it disappeared. And then later on my way home I saw another.
This one however looked nothing like that bright orange object. This one flew past me very fast, hundreds, if not thousands of miles an hour. It looked only a couple hundred feet in the air. It was tiny though. It looked like a star, in the sense that it was a tiny orb of whitish colored light, but it of course wasn't a star and I know it wasn't a meteor because I got a clear view of this object and it was so low and I could see it so clearly. source: www.mufon.com
Florida-11-01-08-I was sitting in my backyard at about 4:00 PM, watching my daughters play together. One of my 4-year-old twin girls was lying flat on the grass looking straight up at the sky when she suddenly blurted out, "Daddy, what is that?"
I looked up and didn't see anything so I answered,"A cloud." She then said, "No Daddy, look!"
I again looked up, more carefully this time, and saw a neon green boomerang-shaped object flying east to west directly overhead. Its shape was identical to that of a boomerang, not a B-2 bomber, or a stealth fighter. Its color was almost luminescent, mint green. The object continued on its path and remained visible for about 30 seconds. Then it just disappeared.
I kept looking up trying to spot it again, when I became aware of a second object which appeared much smaller and higher in the sky then the first. This second object followed the same flight pattern as the first, but from a much higher altitude. The second object almost looked like a star because it was small and white and extremely bright. Then this second object disappeared just as quickly as the first. source: www.mufon.com
Massachusetts-11-05-08-I was driving down 24 south in Raynham/Bridgewater area bringing my daughter to the doctor's and right before 495 exit I looked up in the sky and saw what looked like a plane at first, but then I said that could not be a plane: the lights were moving side to side and and very bright
They were as bright as a cop car's emergency lights would be. They were white lights. I went to get my phone out to take a picture and it disappeared, and then reappeared in another area. There was another bright light directly across from it which were too bright to be a plane, and it was too light out to be a star. I have never seen any lights at that time when driving in that area, and I am in that area off and on all the time. There were several cars on the road at that time, and I was hoping that someone else saw it. source: www.mufon.com
Ohio-11-05-08-I was driving home from taking my wife some lunch at her work, and saw this black helicopter with no marking, flying around the area. I really didn't think too much of it and I kept driving as usual.
As I was sitting at an intersection red light, I looked up to my left, and saw this silver object in the sky. It wasn't a saucer. The best way I could describe it would be a very short cigar shape. I would estimate it was about a half mile from me, and about 1000 feet high.
I do not think it was a plane, because there was no contrail, and no noise. This was broad daylight and it was a beautiful, clear day here today. I reached for my camera to take a picture, and when I looked back up, there were now two. They were traveling at the exact same speed. Then out of nowhere the black helicopter appeared, and looked to be following the objects. My picture did not turn out, but this was like nothing I had ever seen before. source: www.mufon.com
Canada-11-05-08-I stepped out onto my deck, which faces south (towards Halifax), at approximately 5:20 Monday morning, November 3rd, 2008. While smoking my cigarette, I noticed two very bright white lights, stacked vertically, in the southeast quadrant of the sky, moving towards the northeast. As they appeared to get closer, it was apparent that they were moving very quickly.
What struck me as unusual was the time, and the likelihood that two aircraft would be flying in a vertical formation at this time. Also noticed were a number (approximately 4-5) of fainter, red lights of the approximate same size, to the left and right of the two white lights, which seemed to lead/follow the white, brighter lights through the early morning sky.
There was no audible noise, but they all seemed to move in a coordinated fashion towards the east. From where I live, I would estimate that these objects were in the sky somewhere east of Halifax International Airport, and possibly closer to the Eastern Shore (i.e. Musquodoboit Harbor/Martinique) source: www.mufon.com
