UFO Abductions: Psychic Alienation

Wednesday January 31, 2007
Many researchers and students of alien abduction who cannot accept the facts of the case files as related by the abductees themselves, look for alternate explanations for the phenomena. In a recent article titled UFO Abductions: Psychic Alienation, this alternate theory is defined as "psychic alienation." Briefly, this is a disassociation of one's mental capabilities. The author states that an alien abductee, though believing in the reality of his or her experience, is in reality, having a psychotic episode. In all fairness, we must realize that the vast majority of the scientific community adheres to this theory.

I am sure that there are those abductions that might fall into this category, and many other mental illnesses, but what scenario will cover all of them? Nothing will, and therein lies the problem. Okay, so I will give you some of them can be explained away by these "other" explanations. But, I can also give you some that will never be explained, except to accept the facts as related by the abductee and the acceptance of documented evidence. In other words, at least some alien abductions are real events experienced by real people who are not mental cases. Check out the Best Cases of Alien Abduction.

Hello you dont know how happy it makes me knowing there are really alien abductions. I really never did question it but I would think twice before reporting one for fear of being labeled a mental case. I would know what I saw you would but there are so many that would question it. I am not really scared of being called a mental case. I just blow it off and consider the source. I question there sanity. Amorte Yvonne
