UFOs and Monsters
UFOs are rarely associated with monsters, but there are a few exceptions. And on this Halloween blog, I would like to revive one of the most notable UFO/Monster stories ever. The case is the Kelly-Hopkinsville alien invasion. This fascinating case, accepted as genuine by many Ufologists, occurred in 1955 in the small town of Kelly, Kentucky. A backwoods family called the Suttons, along with a friend or two would be invaded by small, strange creatures that appeared after a friend drawing water from a well saw a glowing object land not too far from the Sutton cabin. The clawed creatures began appearing at windows, and hanging from the roof. They were shot at, and hit, but quickly recovered, and came back for more. The family finally ran to the local Sheriff's station, but when they arrived, the aliens were gone. There was evidence of gunshots through the wall and windows. After the sheriff's crew left, soon the aliens reappeared. Finally, the ordeal was over. Drawings made by different members of the Sutton family all agreed, and their testimony was taken seriously by well known UFO investigators. The case has never had an earthly explanation.

Bizarre story. Now to wait for the commenters quoting the Bible heavily on this one and speculating about little green demons who must have smelled of sulpher. Wonder if the Sutton family and friends had imbibed of the moonshine before shooting the place up?

Those weren’t alien creatures that attacked their home. It was inbred dudes that lived in the Kentucky woods! Some of them look like aliens, but in actuality they are just really deformed.

to those that had a comment you are the dumb ones this did happen and they were not high on moonshine my dad was with the ones that went to there home after it happen for the government we have not been alone here or earth for a long long time
I can believe it , I’ve heard of this before when I was a kid .It happened at an old farmhouse in North Carolina .
Nobody believed them either but i do , anything is possible but you have to have an opened mind for these kinds of things and there aren’t alot of ppl who will except them ,science can’t explain it rather they say their liars . There are some of us out here who do and will believe and I am one of those .
Keep looking to the skies and hope for an answer that doesn’t hurt…..
My comment about the moonshine was snarky and uncalled for. I apologize. I did not want to see the fire and brimstone crowd take over this posting. I can believe that the people involved in this incident experienced something that shook them up profoundly and I believe what they have to say.
This “Backwoods Family” is honest as the day is long. People, most of us all, don’t make up stories about UFO’s or alien’s, there is just no need to. Most of the sightings and such are real and happen just the way they are reported. If I saw something like these people did I’d be delighted, astounded, and amazed. I, myself, would love for this to happen to me, but I’m not gonna make up anything and I don’t think anyone else would either. One of these days a group of highly intelligent aliens will make theirself known to the world. Our whole world will change in an instant and the ones that know now will just smile. There are countless groups of different races of aliens visiting our world now, one day a group will come and introduce theirself and their technology to us…but like I said it will be a highly intelligent group, one that has advanced eon’s of time and will know how to communicate with us on our level and bring us up to their level quickly. I look forward to the day.
Why would anybody question what they saw? I have seen them but I keep it to my self, its best that way. Y.M.S,
