UFO Disclosure from Astronaut Edgar Mitchell

After giving us some previous tantalizing statements, it seems that Astronaut Edgar Mitchell has finally done it. He has told the world that UFOs are real, and that we are not alone in the universe. In a recent interview on Kerrang Radio, in the United Kingdom, he shocked the host and listeners by making a number of statements that left no doubt that what we study day after day is indeed, a real science, and not just based on the ravings of lunatics.

There is other life in the universe.
We have been visited, and this has been covered up.
There is a lot of contact going on.

WOW! Listened to both the Edgar Mitchell admissions and the NASA reaction soundtracks and well, WOW! Did you really expect NASA to say what Edgar Mitchell said was correct? Of course not. Best part was listening to the radio host search for words after hearing EM say aliens were real and we have/are being visited. We can only hope that in the not-so-distant future our governments will admit the same to the waiting people of the world.

As a current engineer I have had the pleasure of working along side many top fighter aircraft we have to offer! Stealth, bombers, F-16’s and our new Raptor. I will say this, I have spoken with pilots and other engineers alike, we are most certainly NOT alone. I am happy Dr. Mitchell came forward to let the public know. Sadly, he is just one of many who will be cast off as “goofy UFO nuts” by those non believers. Sad!
His testimony will only be cast off as “crazy” if those of you who read these columns shrug it off as such, and do not spread the exciting news! Tell your family! Tell your friends! Tell your co-workers!!
Who are his contacts in the military circle – can they please come forward and start a revolution. I hope his contacts aren’t just the evidenceless members of the disclosure group who have nothing to contribute in terms of credibility.
If no evidence can be made apparent and he’s telling the truth then god help us all lol as his account will be ignored completely.
If he’s lying or delusional as the media seems to have accepted then fine but for once why don’t they give someone a chance. This celebrity obssessed media and general public need to grow up, it’s like they are stuck in their infancy.
Does anyone know if he’s profiting from this – i.e. from a book, tv shows etc. Any credibility he may have gained for a short while from this will be wiped out completely if he does that. Anyone with some common sense should at least consider that possibility.
Slight apologizes to describing the disclosure group evidenceless, they have evidence but it’s not actual physical evidence of aliens which the scientific community will require for proof.
Evidence they have are eyewitness accounts, photos, radar reports, which are all too unreliable to be considered as proof. It’s the same for every ufo report documented, at best we can say that certain events are unknown, and it’s possible that something unknown could have happened, but we just don’t know yet.
There’s still no actual evidence of aliens been put forward by anyone at all – that’s what the people that come forward need for an ounce of credibility.
If they ARE real,how the hell do they know they are not hostile? Ever see Twilight Zone’s episode,To Serve Man?
We don’t, they may appear friendly but still end up having a long term goal which is hostile to us. Just have to hope that’s not the case.

TO CLARIFY MY SIGHTING IT LASTED ALL OF 10 SECS AND WITH OUT THE AID OF THE SCOPE LOOKING IN THE SAME AREA IN THE SKY IT WAS GONE. Be strong.. strange sightings above and ground level do exist around us and somehow dissapear within seconds.. I am an experiencer. What I do not believe is that those in high places have the answers. I believe they enter from
doorways or dimensions so to speak because you sense they are not of our reality.

Did you listen to the response Dr. Mitchell gave on his belief in God? Sounds like he thinks the ETs created us. Smart man.
Let’s just try and find out if ET actually exists and push them for physical evidence before claiming that ET created man. It will hardly help the giggle factor associated with this subject making more extraordinary claims than what’s necessary. We’ll see though soon hopefully.

I’m certainly inclined to give Mr. Mitchell’s statements a lot more credence than I would most such comments. He moves in circles where such information could well exist, and some of it could leak out through “loose lips” or over a drink at a local pub.
Other former astronauts have made similar statements, and I have to believe that there definitely is some information within the government about UFO’s and their possible extraterrestriality that is not being disclosed.

Dr. Mitchell’s comment re: ‘Some UFOs are of extraterrestrial sources, some are not.’
First, the cadence and grammar use in this sentence is very strange unless, of course, English isn’t the doctor’s mother tongue or the thought was planted in his mind.
Second, Dr. Mitchell certainly seems to suggest that some UFOs are ‘Not of this Earth’, a thought I have had for many years now.
I believe that many of the UFO visits that have been documented are US; that is to say we are being visited by beings from our own future. It would explain a lot, especially the ‘non-contact’ character of most UFO viists. What is the Prime Directive in time travel? Make No Contact and Change Nothing in the Past or risk making irreversible changes in or destruction of the future.
There is another way to translate the Mayan calendar notation for 12/21/2012 (i.e., “The Great Reckoning Overthrows Past, Present and Future”)

Finally John George! Someone who says the same thing I have been saying for 20 some years. I have even used that very same quote many times when discussing this subject. Imagine a worldwide destruction that causes the human race to survive underground for say 10,000 years. Now imagine what they would look like. Weakened depleted bodies. Immense minds. Grayish skin from lack of sunlight. Sound familiar? The human race of the future is dying out, and needs donor seeds to restrengthen the gene pool. Could be a script for “The Twilight Zone”. Could be reality. I would love to live long enough to find out the truth, whatever it may be.
I’ve long believed Roswell involved ETs but Mitchell’s real purpose is to deceive believers in subtle ways. It has been a common government tactic for years.
The problem isn’t are they real, but are they hostile. I hope Mitchell is right; but my experience is they are totally hostile, and are expected to go to war with humans in the future.
If your psychic or meditate, see if you can pick up what is happening in a dimension close to our own, and what the ets are doing to ready thenselves for first strike against the earth.
Bingo, John George! I have long held that some UFO’s are either vehicles or portals by means of which our distant descendents come back through time. And I have also held that those visitors must necessarily abide by a Prime Directive lest they alter their own time or erase their own existence.
To my mind, it is virtually a 100% likelihood that at some point, we or our descendents will develop time travel. It naturally follows that those descendents will utilize that capability to study us, much as we use archeology and paleontology to try to study our own past. This certainly could explain reports of UFO’s from earlier centuries, and possibly some of the cave drawings that seem to resemble UFO’s and alien beings.
I believe that UFO’s are a mix of alien visitors, our own descendents, and lots of cases of misidentification.

My first experience was a big perfectly round whitish sphere that appeared to me only yards away then it dissapeared like the flick of a switch. Then years ago I awoke in the night to see a grey translucent mass in the bedroom doorway which dissapated and what appeared then was a vertical column of light which moved around my room slowly and intelligently then rushed towards me…I cannot say anymore but people like me carry this as a memory thats all we can do. These things must appear from another doorway or dimension..can you understand why I come to that conclusion. Regards Jesus he says his fathers house has many mansions..he is right.

Edgar Mitchell should be commended for his public statements when you listed to the interview with British radio,
its a shame that the interviewer was stuck in his inane morning radio banter style and didn’t show Edger the respect he deserved.
History will tell the tale that Mitchell spoke with credability and an open heart.

Personally, I believe it is very possible that aliens are real, however, the truth is we will all be left to wonder and speculate until such time as the television set proclaims the truth to us..i.e..the NBC nightly news proclaims it is so. Then, and only then, will we accept it as fact. Until then, we must wait.
Also, if and when the NBC nightly news proclaims it is so, I really don’t think that the general public is going to be all that excited about it. Sure, it will be discussed around the water cooler for a few days but I honestly don’t think it will create any kind of big pubic hoopla. Life will go on as usual, people will starve to death in Africa as usual, the price of gas will continue to go up as usual, the ozone layer will continue to evaporate, the poor will get poorer, the rich will get richer….it will not create any substantial changes in the everyday life of earthlings. It will just be a case of…that’s fasinating..now hand me the remote control…American Idol is on.

I totally agree with you MajiShin. Greed is the main reason. They are protecting their status quo. If the ET’s are hostile, we should have records of these hostilities already. We just don’t know what these greedy bastards are up to. What deals have they done with the ET’s – it is obvious that they have contacted them already. So many questions. We need concrete answers.
It’s been 5 months since this article was posted but just ran across it today.
I tried to read the article about Edgar Mitchell and his disclosure but it wouldn’t load for some reason so I went to the first link posted “UFO Disclosure From Astronaut Edgar Mitchell” and had to do a search for the article on the Australia.to News website and it brought up the article “NASA employee claims to have seen aliens in space shuttle”.
It was an interesting read but was embarrassed towards the end of the article at Clark C. McClelland and his groveling for money. It was pathetic. He stated that he wrote books that the government kept from being published and it was his goal to inform the public of the “truth”, but that he will only do it, basically, for monetary gain.
I question the validity of someone who says they want to help and inform the public but then say only for compensation and then complain that he lost his job and his wife left him and then grovel for money from “rock stars and Bill Gates”.
This guy worked for NASA and I want to believe what he’s saying but like someone posted above, when you bring money into the mix you’re actually hurting the cause. No one is going to believe someone who states they’re in it for the cash. Also, I don’t think Mr. Mitchell needs someone like this nutjob greedo saying he has his back.
Several astronauts, with EM included, state that we are not alone.
Why would we be alone?? That is a big universe out there. Also, I entertain the idea that some of these so-called ETs actually reside somewhere here on Earth.
Like another person has posted here, I also believe that our “future” progeny is time traveling to visit mankind in the present and the past. I wonder how many times our “future” has been changed with these visits? A few folks here speculate that the aliens or time traveling humans are not allowed to interfere with the history of mankind, but who says they cannot? Maybe they have, many times !!
As for the world governments being in cahoots with alien visitors from other worlds, I believe that. After all, why would beings who have spent so much time and effort to visit our world not try to make contact with our “leaders.”
That would be comparable to us finding intelligent life on Mars and not trying to make contact with them. I can’t see that. We are too curious and would seek to communicate with them.

I am very excited about the next few years as the implications of these revelations become accepted and mainstream.
Here are some questions which come to mind :
1. it is said that certain breakthrough technologies were delivered by the CIA to companies like Fairchild in the 40’s.
Could it be trues for example that transistors and silicon chip concepts came from this reverse engineering?
2. Is it possible that nuclear fusion (cold perhaps) exists already and that finally the government is willing to accept
it is time to deliver this to humanity.Will the USA try to gain local advantage with this knowledge?
3. what if nuclear fusion delivers unlimited energy to mankind?
4. what if antigravity is the propulsion method of UFO’s? what is the implication of antigravity control of human
transportation systems (companies etc etc)
5. if UFO aliens are from other solar systems and even galaxies, how will this impact on our evolution – ie do we immediately
accept and adopt their knowledge and evolutionary stage (and if we are visited by many races and development levels how do we select the model we want to mirror)
- ie can evolution cope with a rapid step forward – look at to Native Indians for guidance on the challenges we might face
6. if UFO aliens are in fact from our own future how can we stop “bad people” trying to benefit from knowledge that might be “forbidden”
in time travel (ie betting on games where the result is known as a trivial example)
7. how does the existence of massively more powerful life forms impact on our belief in god(s)?
8. will this knowledge make the male dominated philosophies of Islam which threaten women’s emancipation become irrelevant?
9. what if we find males (or females) no longer exist in the future?
10. will the energy solution allow us to distribute wealth fairly and equally across the planet?
11. will good and evil still exist in the future or on other planets?
12. is there any possibility we will discover if life after death exists?

I agree with former NASA Astronaut Edgar Mitchell: we are not alone. These are questions for rigorous scientific investigation, not for rote answers one way or the other. Based on the most current NASA research (most recently the Mars Phoenix Lander), there is no evidence that there is or ever was life on Mars or on any solar system body other than Earth. However, the Milky Way galaxy, and more generally the Universe, I argue, are teeming with life and with intelligent life. If you’re in Washington, DC metro area, I’ll speak on this at the Kensington Row Bookshop April 30th at 7:30 pm.
Mr Mitchell is the most credible person I have heard yet to step forward and claim we have been visited but I have not heard a detailed explanation of exactly what he knows and how much he believes our government knows. Is he retricted by secrecy agreements not to disclose. It seems strange he can say a little but not all he knows. Sounds like a book is needed.
