Claims by Bulgaria - Contact with Aliens

By , About.com Guide   November 30, 2009

Follow me on:

A recent admission by authorities in Bulgaria has generated debate across the Internet. The Space Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences has stated frankly that they are in contact with extraterrestrial beings. This was first reported by the Bulgarian Novinar Daily Newspaper.

Taking the claims a step beyond, the paper has also reported that scientists in that country are in the process of deciphering pictograms which were included in crop circles created by aliens in response to 30 questions asked by government authorities.

The report did not say how the scientists communicated their questions to the aliens, but this bizarre report is being considered legitimate by a number of researchers. What do you think?

Mr Booth,

might you be able to track any follow-up there may be to this story?

The world of mainstream science is not prone to making wild claims; very interesting.

However, not knowing anything about the Space Research Institute, it is impossible to judge the likely veracity of these claims. Maybe someone else knows more about the people involved in this institute.

funny thing is; Bulgarias space agency is hosted in the coal bin at the home of the top scientist and only meets when the temprature is -25f in the month of june. The agency has a telescope made of tolet rolls taped together with a tape measure extending from the bridge of the nose of the user. Aside from alien giberish, the language they speak is monolingual in nature and their main brodcast call sign is QUBO and can be seen here on the IONlife network :) Thank you for your effort to smile everyday and make someone happy

It would make sense other counties would be in contact will extraterestrials, since the united states has been for many years. The only difference here is Bulgaria is in contact by the use of pictograms and the dicifering there of. That is’nt quite the same! Kind of a misleading story.

Look out it seems the lead scientist is none other than get rich Al Gore the ManBearPig himself honestly I’m Serial; really I’m Serial

billy,

Unfortunately,
although this story piques the interest,

apparently said bulgarian scientist is disintegrating in orbit, so to speak…

the fact that his colleagues are in the process of forcing his resignation speaks volumes about his credibility…

and his mental state…

besides, as blossom goodchild found out…

these ‘aliens’ love to lie,
and make you the fool…

they are tricksters…

(10) Gadrannanna says:

I have not read anything in the press about Mr Filipov’s mental state so I can’t make a judgement of that; people may do strange experiments without having to be in a dubious mental state.

He does not appear to be delusional about his claim: he does not believe that it is truth and, seemingly so far, is behaving normally.

People grumble because most mainstream scientists won’t get involved with the idea of telepathy then, because one of them does, he is immediately viewed by many as a crank and this attitude could easily make sure that as little serious experimentation as possible within the idea of telepathy takes place.

We should not guide our attempts at research with prejudice.

While mainstream science loves its repetition, recording and reliability of phenomena it needs to be noted that brains are one of the most unreliable and quirky things in existence; that goes for everyone I have come across. Getting consistent results in telepathy experiments may be inherently problematic. And, as far as I can see, various telepathy experiments are flawed to varying degrees. Sometimes I wonder whether researchers are deliberately designing experiments which are likely to show a lack of positive results; maybe they hope that no one will notice the flawed logic in their design.

I wish I could remember some examples of such experiments. I can’t.

I will laugh so hard if the crop circles are interpreted to say To Serve Man. Maybe some of you old timers will get that joke.

Any way crop circles are the result of farmers with too much time on their hands or the way the fields are irrigated. I tell you what, it is amazing what you can do with a few miles of pipes, a Bulgarian “scientest”, and a wuss of a Pope.

(12) Yarl says:

Why might cosmetics be bad?

Cosmetics contain many ingredients which possibly cause harm to humans in various ways; some chemicals like phthalates may even cause endocrine changes to developing fetuses. The hazard they might pose primarily stems from the long-term, chronic use of these products by a great number of people across the world, and the possible result of an accumulation of substances in their bodies which eventually crosses a threshold of toxicity.

Some chemicals are more suspicious than others, but regardless, there is danger in the fact that we really don’t know what the consequences might be in most cases. Many people would be alarmed if they realized the extent to which the cosmetics industry is NOT regulated for human safety concerns. Many ingredients in cosmetics are not tested for human safety at all, or if they are, then only for short-term effects.

The FDA does not regulate cosmetics in the US, for example, and there is no similar agency that does. The EU has somewhat more strict standards than the US (banning phthalates in certain products, for example), but there are still many other suspicious chemicals allowed.

These chemicals may also cause harm to our planet’s environments. Especially of the chemicals which may cause endocrine changes in humans, they will likely have similar effects on many organisms in the environment as they do on humans.

(15) Bogus says:

Nope!! It is all bogus. No one has communicated with any extraterrestrials because they simply don’t exist. Until I personally see one or communicate with one I won’t get caught up in all of the hype.

(16) Wraith says:

The whole public story is wrong. Mr Filipov has an impressive CV to say the least and he originally did not mention communication via pictogram. This has been squashed as usual because of what will come out alongside disclosure. Mr Filipov is going through three kinds of hell at the moment and needs all the support we can give him. Check out the Kevin Smith Show website for how you can contact him and send your support.

They work on some current space missions, sciences, and inovations. I am looking into the news report for more clues.

This is what Indian saints used to do for contacting the aliens, that using power of thought. Thy have mentioned it as total fourteen types of races including humans race in it. Humans can contact them only by meditation, that powerful thought. These aliens support only those humans, who are on righteous path. Other wise they just leave it. When the yuga comes to and end they all support only one person, who has the capacity to understand all these, to put back all the humankind on the righteous path.

By virtue humans are supposed to be more social and humanly towards the life on this earth.
