A UFO Crash Video?

By , About.com GuideFebruary 12, 2010

Follow me on:

According to a paranormal blog site, there is a video of a UFO crashing to Earth that was filmed by the US military. The video is touted as the "most amazing UFO crash footage ever captured."

I have to insert here that I sometimes wonder if those who are posting these videos already know that they are not what they say they are, or if they are really that stupid.

The crash sequence is actually the re-entry of a NASA project titled Stardust, which occurred in 2006, when a parachute failed to open. The project collected samples from the comet Wild 2.

Here is my question: Do they think we are really this stupid?

I think they hope we are that stupid, or at least some of us are. Or perhaps it’s more of the “shiny sparkly distraction” that takes attention from something else.

Keep up the good work sir.

I dont think its a matter of them thinking we’re stupid. I think its a matter of certain people so desperate and hungry 4 the truth regarding what many of us either suspect or know that they create stuff like this out of boredom or frustration. Overall its silly and dumb. I personally wouldn’t waste my time making stupid claims like this. At the end of the day I guess they just wish that those who are witholding valuable information [that will verify our suspicions] would have enough respect 4 intelligent people and come forward.

It’s stories like this that ruin the real ones. People so starved for attention (like the goofy balloon boy), that they don’t care or think about what it does in the long run.

Shame on them! :(

As long as UFO enthusiasts (like you, Billy) keep calling the stuff that is obviously faked, ‘fakes; the stuff that is misleading, ‘not accurate’; and lies…well, what they are; it doesn’t matter what anyone with less than honorable interests does or says about UFO’s. All that matters is folks who have integrity in the UFO research, and they demonstrate that they have integrity by reasonably considering and studying (and being willing to call the fakes, etc. what they are). You’ve developed a site, here, that examines UFO claims with integrity and that demonstrates your credibility, Billy. As David Bowie sang, “…don’t let the zeroes get you down…”

September 8 2004, genesis capsule crash-landed in desert of Utah after chute fails. Not a UFO

Billy, Trax is right, although they probably don’t need me to substantiate their story. Stardust, having been launched in February of 1999 collected specimens from the comet Wild-2 in January of 2004 and returned to earth in January of 2006. Its parachute deployed. Genesis was launched in August of 2001 to collect solar wind particles and returned to earth September of 2004. Its parachute did not deploy and it crash landed but its payload was realitively unharmed.
On subject, everybody either wants their 15 minutes of fame or they want to make money. While we might not be stupid, a percentage of the population is gullible enough for the perpetrators of these hoaxes to get what they want, attention. I also believe that some folks want so badly to have proof of the existence of UFOs they end up fooling themselves. It’s up to people like yourself to help weed out the fakes and I thank you for your efforts.

Yeah they do because they’re very likely teens and pre-teens who don’t know or remember these events or think adults are easily fooled.

When I was that age my friends and I used to telephone random strangers and ask if their refrigerator was running. If they answered yes, we’d say “Catch it before it gets out the door.” We thought that was hysterically cool (adolescent wit).

These days there’s the Internet for pulling off these types of childish pranks hence all the fake UFO footage online..

TThere are some people who have a great deal of knowledge about several groups of aliens that visit this planet regularly. Several governments are fully aware of the aliens and communicate with them. We have, sort of,
‘men in black’. They report to the Sec of Defense. Every U.S. military installation that has nuclear weapons has a contingent of alien knowledgeable people assigned to those locations. We have been in direct communication with some of the aliens for over sixty years. When the alien craft landed near Bentwaters in 1980, Colonel Hart and his Security Detail did not know that there were people on his base that were in communication with the aliens and were trying to assist them with their vehicle.
I am not, nor have I ever been one of the ‘men in black’, but I certainly know of their existence and their mission.
People who have witnessed things like the security men at Bentwaters have attempted to ‘blow the lid off’ the UFO thing, but to no avail. They simply do not have the means or the knowledge to do that. I seriously doubt that
anyone in the group will ever give any information to the
public about their activities. It is a very well kept secret.
One of these days the whole world will learn the truth. I do not believe that the world is capable of handling much right now, but a few people who have suspected that the governments knew about the aliens might be able to help get the truth told soon.

I am definitely sure that the crashed vechicle was from the great cosmos beyond the realm of reason. I can see a small pod being jetisoned during the skip phase. That cat that is now in charge in DC was in the pod. For sure. Do not question what you cannot see. Have you ever seen him in person. I think he is like the terminator. Flesh over chips and stainless. Like the terminator, he should have never gone past governor.

Are more coming. Can we stand the impact?

well, knowing how big is the univers, and how many systems are similar to our solar system (40 is the number, according to i don’t remember who) so ther is a chance that there is life out side. i will even say i am sure of that. but not in the way that what you cal stupid people says. just that they see things diferently that what you and i do. hungry for the truth we all are, some use logic and make them research, some are stisfyed with all the video in youtube, and some doesn’t care at all. but at the end i respect all people point of view on this subject, because no one and i am saying no one can know for sure the truth but GOD.
