The night began no different than many others. Home at the time was the mother, a daughter, and a son. The father was away, and his wife was talking to him on her computer, when she received a phone call from her mother, who spoke with a frightened voice, "Get up here! It is huge!"
The woman's mother had heard her dog vomiting outside, and when she went to check on him, she saw something she will never forget-an enormous, brightly lit object hanging in the sky. She immediately called her husband from inside, and he too, saw the enormous UFO.
She stated that, "At first I thought someone turned on their snowmobile light in the fog."
She very soon discovered this was not the source of the bright light. As she watched, she was amazed as the object began to rise upward in the sky. As it did, she could make out a number of white, glowing balls of light underneath the larger object. About this time, the woman's daughter, grandson, and granddaughter had arrived, in response to her urgent phone call.
The woman's daughter gave her testimony:
"By the time we (my youngest 17 year old son and my 21 year old daughter) got up there, we saw a huge glow above the water tower about the size of a football field, maybe bigger. It was hovering up and down. It remained there for a good half-hour before it began to glide away from us further into the hills."
At this time, the woman called her other daughter, who had a video camera, and urged her to the scene. She arrived too late, however, to catch the large UFO on film. The daughter was accompanied by her boyfriend.
As the night grew foggier, the large, bright light now seemed like a bluish glow, and it moved even farther away from them. The object moved very little for the next hour, however, as it ever so slowly lost its brightness.
Against her wishes, her two daughters, the boyfriend, and her son decided to walk toward the water tower, to see if they could get a better look at the UFO. Proceeding to the source of the light, the older daughter and her boyfriend were frightened by a light orb that crossed their path toward the water tower.
Soon, they were again shocked when they saw some very strange footprints on the snow-covered ground. The prints were not like anything they had ever seen before. The daughter began taking video of the prints. They could also see occasional bright flashes of light in the woods between their location and the water tower.
They would later relate these details of their trip toward the water tower:
"There were small flashing points in the darkness between the trees, like someone flicking a lighter. Then we noticed a steady, glowing orb higher in a tree, less than 20 feet away from where we were on the road, probably about 15-20 feet up into the tree. At that point, we realized that something was there looking straight at us and it was time to go home. On the way down the hill we all smelled a strong, pungent, rotten egg odor."
The video film of the tracks on the ground has not yet been made public domain, although we do have several frame grabs from it. Hopefully, in the near future MUFON will investigate the strange events of December, 2007, and reach some conclusion as to what the strange object was that was witnessed by the five individuals, and just what or who made the strange footprints in the snow, and what was the mysterious being watching them from the tree.
