UFO Reports - Florida Law Enforcement
Any good UFO student is interested in any and all reports of UFOs. However, certain groups of observers seem to have more clout than others.
One of these highly regarded groups is law enforcement. Why, you might ask?
The reason is mainly because they have been deemed reliable by the criteria they must follow in their line of work, and also the fact that they are trained to be careful observers and accurate reporters of what they see.
I would like to share with you some reports from law enforcement personnel that have come to my attention recently.
This first report comes to us from Florida.
In January of 2011, I was alerted to report from a law enforcement member from Florida.
UFO Ascends from Florida Yard
The Homestead, Florida, policeman had just arrived home from a short New Year's break at about 6:20 PM on January 2.
Letting out his two security dogs from his sliding glass door, he saw a "glowing, metallic sphere" shoot into the sky. The object had evidently been sitting in his backyard!
His dogs immediately started throwing an uncharacteristic fit as they came outside. The object silently shot up into the cloud cover, making a 90 degree turn at full speed. It was then no longer in the policeman's view.
Physical Evidence
Searching around his backyard, he immediately saw two, circular marks in the grass. They were like burned patches, with a white, powdery substance, like ash.
The Florida State law enforcement member is also retired from the Army, and says that he thought he had seen it all. That is, until January 2, 2011.
He has reported his sighting to MUFON and also to a retired Air Force Commander, and gone from a skeptic to believer.
