2008- The Needles, California Crash

On March 14, 2008, a group of sky watchers saw a turquoise colored, unknown object descending toward the earth near the town of Needles, California. This was not a meteorite - it was being chased by helicopters. According to the witnesses, the helicopters were successful in finding the object.

The information on this case comes from UFO investigator George Knapp. Knapp brought forth eyewitness Frank Costigan, former chief of security at LAX, and considered a top-notch witness.

He stated: "It was bright, bright enough that it illuminated the ground. It went behind a hill, and I waited to see if I could hear it crash because as big as it was, it was bound to make noise."

However, Costigan never heard a crash. KTOX Radio owner, David Hayes, saw dark-colored vehicles leaving the area of the crash. He could see that the first vehicle had government plates.

A third very important witness was also found. A man who lived in a houseboat on the river was eyewitness to the object crashing about 100 yards from the river. Soon, military helicopters arrived.

He added that one of the helicopters had a large hook on it. It grabbed the still glowing object, and whisked it away. Who knows where the object is today? See more at The Needles, California Crash.

2008- Astronaut Edgar Mitchell: UFOs are Real

On July 23, 2008, former Astronaut Edgar Mitchell shocked the world with the short but riveting statement: "UFOs are Real." Mitchell was being interviewed on Britain's Kerrang Radio show.

He asserted that the Roswell Crash was real, and that there was a well organized cover-up of facts relating to the crash. His statements had far reaching and permanent impact on the study of UFOs.

At the time of Mitchell's disclosure, the following statement was made.

The recent bombshell disclosures of Dr. Edgar Mitchell have set the Internet ablaze with articles, blogs, and forum discussion. Finally, a man who is respected highly, and a national hero, has with a somber, straight face told the world without reservation that we have been visited by UFOs, aliens are real, and our government is indeed, covering up this information.

2009 - UFO Air Show in North Carolina

Another very compelling account of the extreme maneuverability of UFOs was investigated by the MUFON group. On August 12, a family was enjoying a day on the beach at Salter Path, North Carolina, when they saw what they thought was a bright star in the distance.

The heavenly object began to move, and soon a red object could be seen. It soon disappeared, and the white object began making spiraling moves in the sky. It moved close enough to the beach that it could seen as a disc-shaped object. Soon, it moved itself far from the beach, only to be replaced by a nearby, similar object.

Soon, the second object began to move away, and two military jets could be seen, apparently chasing the unknown objects. The family watched this activity for a full 45 minutes, witnessing a third military plane appear.

Before long, another type of craft could be seen over the lake. The family could make out two red lights on its sides, with a third white light in the center. They also stated that the bottom of the craft was glowing an orange-white color, and was similar to a beam aimed at the water.

There is no doubt that the family saw something out of the ordinary, but what? Were the planes from nearby Johnson Air Force Base? If so, what were they chasing? The family stated that they were very familiar with the different types of planes in the area, as they had visited the same beach for 19 years.

The members of the family stated that, without a doubt, the maneuvers and speeds shown by the unknown objects far surpassed the capabilities of earthly made craft. What was seen over Salter Path, North Carolina, remains a mystery.
