It was moving from north to south, so I watched it for a moment. To my surprise it disappeared from view. It just shrank into nothing. I thought this strange, but continued on without giving much thought to the non-event.
Around 10:30 I looked up. Between the rows of trees on either side of the street I could see a relatively large object (much larger than a plane), slowly moving from south to north in a straight line. It had a large yellow/orange light at either end and seemed to have a dark body in between.
At first glance I thought it was a helicopter, but it had no flashing strobe lights or red lights that the helicopters I've seen usually have. When I looked closer, it was moving extremely slow, taking one or two minutes to cross between the trees on either side of the street.
It appeared to be quite low, and maybe a quarter mile away. From my best guess, I would say no more than a few hundred feet in the air. I ran to a park which has few trees to get a better look at it in the clearing. I was only a few blocks away from the park, but by the time I ran there the object had disappeared out of view.
It had no flashing identification lights and made no sound I could hear. I felt no shock or awe that is reported with many cases. I was in disbelief at having seen something like this. Maryland - 05-21-09 - My wife and I were driving to Montgomery Mall, and just made a right turn coming from Tower Oaks to Montrose Avenue, and to take the 270 S. exit. I then pointed out to my wife an odd looking object (driver side), hovering just above the trees.
I initially thought it was just a plane. But, looking at it more closely, it was definitely clear that it was something different. The unidentified flying object had 3 white lights from each point of what appears to be triangle shape object: it also has a flashing red or amber light in the middle.
The object was just hovering and not moving at all, and without making any noise. It also looked like it was a bit tilted to the right side. I then made a U-Turn from Montrose, but right after we made the turn, the object disappeared. source: www.mufon.com
Michigan - 05-19-09 - Coldwater - I was driving with my boyfriend to University of Michigan for an oral surgery appointment. We were on US-23 North, going to our exit, and I just happened to look out our front windshield and was talking about how beautiful a day it was. There were hardly any clouds, only a few vapor trails from jets, and barely any haze. It was a perfect day. Then it was just there - the UFO. It had to be at a very high altitude. It looked small, and there were a lot of planes in the area, but you could tell they were definitely planes.
The UFO however, did not move at all, it just hung in the air, I watched it intently and was screaming at my boyfriend to look. We just watched it as long as we could until it just vanished.
It looked like it got smaller to almost like a point and was gone. The same night my brother also witnessed an orange/red ball of light in the night sky, probably around 11:15 PM outside his work, along with his roommate. source: www.mufon.com
Texas - 04-22-09 - On a recent trip with my partner heading towards Big Bend State Park, just past Marathon Texas, around noon on a sunny day, I noticed a shadow cross over the hood of the car. I thought it was probably a bird casting a shadow.
But then, out of the corner of my right eye I saw something very bright heading towards the passenger side of the window at a rapid speed. I turned my head towards the passenger window and noticed that my companion was staring out at the same object. It looked like a extremely bright form with glowing arm-like extensions that seemed to pass through the car in seconds.
The entire car interior was white, absolute white. I could not see anything outside nor inside, although I was still facing the passenger. The stereo was on, but I don't remember any sound either, just glowing bright light. I have no idea how long the form took to pass completely thru the car. The car seemed to move back and forth with a jolt.
The next thing that I remember is that my hands grabbed the steering wheel and I turned towards my partner and said "Why are we doing this?"
We apparently were still facing each other, he had a terrified look on his face and shakes his head. I said "What happened?" He told me that something had hit the car. <p> I reached out and stopped the swinging motion of the cross hanging from the rear view mirror, realizing that the swinging motion supported the fact that the car had moved violently. I looked in the rear view mirror to see if anything was behind the car, as if I had hit something. There was nothing behind us.
Both of us turned and look out of the window trying to determine what had slammed into the automobile. There was nothing around us, or behind us. I almost stopped, but thought that whatever had hit the car might somehow, somewhere, be outside.
I slowed down, still visually searching for some kind of animal, object, anything, but nothing seemed visible. Let me mention that it was around noon on a clear day. I had a CLEAR mind and was in a calm mood. I am a logical person and do not seek fiction in life.
